A 400-pound black bear discovered the taste of an LA resident’s Costco meatballs while sniffing around his refrigerator several months back. And once he had a taste he had to keep coming back for seconds. Authorities say, the bear had returned to the same house three times seeking the same dinner. However, the bear’s luck finally ran out last Tuesday when local sheriffs spotted the bear and shot multiple tranquilizer darts into it in a drama that unfolded on morning television. He was then carted deep into the Angeles National Forest with what California Department of Fish and Game officials described as a “heck of a hangover.” Other than that, the bear is ship shape. Or so we’re told.
