Located in the village of New Hyde Park in New York sits one of the fanciest McDonald’s “restaurants” you will ever see. The McDonald’s resides in a century old Georgian mansion, known as the Denton house that was build back in 1795. It has been used as a McDonald’s fast food outlet throughout a large portion of the 1900′s, however, it was actually threatened to be torn down by McDonald’s reps so that it could be replaced by a more traditional McDonald’s building back in 1987. Thankfully, the locals stepped in and helped preserve the McDonald’s and its landmark status.
